Cerium Labs has purchased a Hitachi S4800 ultra-high resolution scanning electron microscope. The 4800 offers improved image quality at magnifications up 800,000x as well as low voltage imaging down to 0.1 kV. This instrument can be used for a variety of samples from semiconductor to carbon nanotubes.
