Cerium has ordered the Clarus 600S GC/MS with TurboMatrix 350 Automated Thermal Desorber from Perkin Elmer. This tool has an extended mass range and a faster mass spectra acquisition as compared to our current insturment. The Clarus 600S comes with a searchable database of 300,000 compounds for ID of unknowns and has picogram sensitivity.
